Job Summary

Job Responsibilities 1

• Develop and execute production plans in accordance with production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Oversee the operation of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and identify any deviations or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and Company policies and procedures in all production activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues or equipment malfunctions, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory records.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate production processes, seeking opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance overall production performance.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Practical understanding of industrial/manufacturing principles, standards, methods and practices
• Experience with lean concepts, familiar with manufacturing, safety and quality process concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules.
• Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
