Role overview
Manage an automotive service center and its daily workflow in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily service-center operations and workflow; supervise technicians, assign work orders, and monitor productivity.
- Review and diagnose vehicle faults to ensure accuracy before repairs are carried out.
- Monitor maintenance quality and conduct final vehicle inspections before delivery.
- Review quotations and ensure required work is approved before execution.
- Follow up on repeat repairs and technical complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Control spare parts consumption and reduce waste and technical errors.
- Monitor technical team performance and discipline and support employee development.
- Prepare operational reports and monitor KPIs; improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Automotive Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of automotive maintenance experience; previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle diagnostics.
- Experience managing automotive service centers or workshops.
- Strong leadership and team management skills and the ability to analyze problems and make sound technical decisions.
- Proficiency in computer applications and maintenance management systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
