KOREV Transport & General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced and proactive Workshop Foreman to oversee daily workshop operations, manage a team of mechanics and technicians, and ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and manpower allocation.
- Monitor maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and within established timelines.
- Inspect completed repairs and verify quality standards before vehicle release.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with operations, transport, and management teams regarding vehicle availability.
- Monitor workshop productivity and prepare maintenance reports.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
- Manage spare parts requirements and coordinate with procurement for timely availability.
- Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records.
- Enforce company safety procedures and workshop housekeeping standards.
- Train, guide, and evaluate mechanics and technicians to improve performance.
