About Us

PurpleBox Storage is a growing self-storage company in Dubai offering secure, climate-controlled storage units with 24/7 customer access. We are looking for a skilled WordPress / AI Web Developer who can help us build high-converting landing pages, improve our website performance, connect our digital platforms, develop AI agents, and eventually support the development of a simple online booking and payment system.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both website development, AI automation, and business conversion, not just basic design.

Role Overview

We are looking for a developer who can manage and improve our WordPress website, create fast-loading advertising landing pages, integrate booking and payment systems, connect tracking tools, and use modern AI tools to speed up development.

The candidate must understand basic system architecture, website structure, user flow, SEO, tracking, AI workflows, and how to build pages that convert visitors into leads and customers.

They should also be able to create practical AI agents using tools such as OpenAI, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms to help streamline our day-to-day operations, customer communication, lead management, internal reporting, and business workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesWebsite & WordPress Development

• Build, manage, and optimize our WordPress website.
• Create high-converting landing pages and squeeze pages for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other campaigns.
• Improve website speed, mobile performance, and technical structure.
• Ensure the website is responsive and optimized mainly for mobile users.
• Maintain plugins, themes, backups, security, and server-side performance.
• Troubleshoot website errors, forms, integrations, and tracking issues.

Booking & Payment System

• Help design and implement an online booking system where customers can:
• View available storage unit sizes.
• Select a unit.
• Book online.
• Pay online.
• Receive confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
• Connect the booking system with payment gateways suitable for the UAE.
• Support future integration with CRM, inventory tracking, and customer management tools.

AI Agents, Automation & Workflow Streamlining

• Build AI agents using tools such as OpenAI, Claude, or similar AI platforms.
• Create AI-powered workflows to reduce manual day-to-day work.
• Develop AI agents or assistants for tasks such as:
• Lead qualification.
• Customer enquiry responses.
• WhatsApp/email response drafting.
• Booking follow-ups.
• Sales team support.
• Daily reports and summaries.
• CRM updates and data organization.
• Content generation for ads, landing pages, SEO, and social media.
• Internal task reminders and operational checklists.
• Connect AI agents with tools such as Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Drive, CRM systems, website forms, WhatsApp tools, and task management platforms.
• Build automation workflows using tools such as Zapier, Make, Airtable, Google Apps Script, APIs, or similar platforms.
• Help design safe and reliable AI workflows with clear prompts, human approval steps, and data privacy controls.
• Recommend practical AI tools that can reduce development cost, improve staff productivity, and increase operational efficiency.

Tracking, SEO & Google Tools

• Set up and manage Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Ads tracking.
• Ensure proper conversion tracking for calls, WhatsApp clicks, forms, bookings, and payments.
• Support SEO optimization for Google and AI search engines.
• Improve page structure, metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and technical SEO.
• Help us understand lead sources and campaign performance.

UI / UX & Conversion Optimization

• Design clean, professional, and conversion-focused user interfaces.
• Improve the customer journey from ad click to lead submission or booking.
• Create clear call-to-action sections, trust signals, pricing sections, FAQ sections, and mobile-friendly layouts.
• Use heatmaps, analytics, and testing tools to improve conversion rates.
• Make sure pages are easy to understand for customers who may not speak perfect English.

AI Development & No-Code Tools

• Use AI tools and no-code/low-code platforms to speed up development.
• Help build simple AI-assisted workflows for content, landing pages, customer support, and booking flow.
• Support the creation of a simple mobile app or app-like booking experience using online AI/no-code app builders.
• Recommend practical AI tools that can reduce development cost and time.

Social Media & Platform Integration

• Connect website pages with Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Business Profile, and other platforms.
• Set up Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, and retargeting integrations.
• Ensure leads from social media can be tracked properly.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with WordPress.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar page builders.
• Good understanding of hosting, servers, DNS, SSL, caching, CDN, and website security.
• Experience improving website load speed and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
• Experience building landing pages for paid advertising campaigns.
• Strong UI/UX understanding, especially for mobile-first design.
• Ability to connect forms, WhatsApp buttons, call tracking, CRM tools, and payment systems.
• Familiarity with payment gateway integrations in the UAE.
• Basic understanding of system architecture and customer booking workflows.
• Experience using AI tools for faster development, design, content, testing, or automation.
• Ability to build AI agents or AI-powered workflows using OpenAI, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
• Ability to connect AI tools with business systems using APIs, Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script, Airtable, or similar platforms.
• Ability to explain technical ideas in a simple and practical way.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with booking systems, rental platforms, appointment systems, or e-commerce websites.
• Experience with WooCommerce, booking plugins, CRM integrations, or custom WordPress development.
• Experience with no-code/low-code tools such as Bubble, FlutterFlow, Webflow, Framer, Softr, Airtable, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
• Experience building simple mobile apps or progressive web apps.
• Experience creating AI agents, internal AI assistants, chatbots, or automation workflows for businesses.
• Experience with OpenAI API, Claude API, ChatGPT custom GPTs, Assistants/API-based agents, or similar AI platforms.
• Knowledge of local UAE payment gateways.
• Experience with SEO for service-based businesses.
• Experience with self-storage, real estate, moving, logistics, or local service businesses is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of server-side development, APIs, databases, and automation workflows.

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
