Job Summary
Carry out high-quality finishing carpentry for interior fit-out projects, including installation, adjustment, repair, and final finishing of wooden and joinery work.
Work to approved drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute finishing carpentry and joinery according to approved drawings and site instructions.
- Install and finish wooden doors, frames, skirting, architraves, wall panels, wardrobes, cabinets, counters, shelving, and other joinery items.
- Accurately cut, fit, align, level, and fix wooden components; ensure proper joints, edges, corners, gaps, and surface finishing.
- Adjust doors, drawers, hinges, locks, handles, and cabinet hardware; identify and rectify defects and alignment issues.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades; report material shortages, damaged materials, drawing discrepancies, or site issues.
- Protect completed work and surrounding finishes, complete snagging and rectification before handover, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Use tools safely, store tools and materials properly, and follow company safety procedures and site HSE requirements.
Required Skills
- Good experience in finishing carpentry and interior fit-out work.
- Accurate measurement skills and ability to work with dimensions.
- Knowledge of wood, MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, and other joinery materials.
- Ability to use carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Understanding of installation and finishing techniques and ability to identify and rectify defects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a site team, with attention to detail and quality.
Performance Expectations
Deliver high-quality workmanship and accurate installation and alignment.
Complete assigned work on time, handle materials and tools properly, and minimize rework and defects.
Follow approved drawings and site instructions and complete snagging and handover requirements.
Pay
- AED 1,500–2,500 per month.

- Work location is in person.
