Role Description
This Wi-Fi and SDWAN Engineer internship role is an on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The intern will assist in deploying, configuring, and monitoring Wi-Fi and SDWAN solutions for enterprise customers, working closely with senior engineers and project teams.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting network design, performing basic troubleshooting, documenting configurations, and contributing to performance and security assessments.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, preparing technical reports, and learning best practices for secure networking implementations.
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in enterprise networking and secure infrastructure in a real-world customer environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs) and interest in Wi-Fi and SDWAN technologies.
- Ability to work with network configuration tools, basic command-line interfaces, and documentation platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in troubleshooting and testing.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a team-based environment.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Understanding of network security principles and cloud-based networking is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+, Wi-Fi or SDWAN vendor certifications) are beneficial but not mandatory.
