We are looking for completion engineers with 3-15 years of experience, with an emphasis on completions design, stimulation techniques, and well performance modeling, to provide wells engineering support across ExxonMobil’s global portfolio. ExxonMobil is a long-term, career orientated company where you will have opportunities to develop your skills while working on different projects and business functions on a global scale.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a recognized university in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical engineering with minimum GPA of 7.5 and above

• 3-15 years of work experience in the upstream oil and gas industry

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical design & operating parameters through data and trend analysis

• Offshore completion operations execution experience is preferred

• Experience with software such as Prosper, NETool, Pack Pro, Well Cat, OLGA is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Knowledge and experience in Well Completions Engineering and operations execution

• Knowledge of sand control and well stimulation techniques for carbonate reservoirs

• Experience with well performance modeling to optimize production

• Interested in long-term career opportunities supporting global operations at ExxonMobil

• Demonstrated ability to cooperate effectively in a team environment

• Flexibility to work in shifts, with opportunities to leverage flexible work hours

• Position is Bangalore-based with potential for international travel
