Welding Technician (Saudi National)

About This Role
Job Purpose
To perform welding, fabrication, and repair works related to MEP installations, piping systems, and structural supports in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding works using approved methods such as Arc, MIG, or TIG welding.
- Fabricate pipe supports, brackets, and metal assemblies.
- Carry out welding for piping systems, including support structures.
- Read welding drawings and follow approved welding procedures.
- Inspect weld quality and ensure compliance with standards.
- Repair defective welds and carry out modifications as required.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
- Follow safety procedures during hot work activities.
- Use proper PPE and comply with company HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors and site teams.
Qualifications
- Technical Certificate / Diploma in Welding or related trade.
- Welding certification preferred.
- Must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) under the appropriate technician / technical profession category, where applicable.
Experience
- 2–5 years of welding or fabrication experience.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of welding techniques and tools.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings.
- Understanding of welding safety practices.
- Good workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in teams.
