Overview
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to produce accurate welds.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including power supplies, wire feeders, and gas regulators.
- Inspect finished welds visually and using measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform pre-weld and post-weld treatments such as grinding, cleaning, and heat treatment as required.
- Maintain welding equipment and report faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production targets and deadlines.
