Schedule:

  • Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and/or holidays • 1st shift 6:00AM – 2:30PM Mon-Fri • Up to 2 weekends per month (Sat and/or Sun)
  • Ideal Welding Experience:
  • We encourage candidates with experience in any of the following areas to apply:
  • Industrial welding and fabrication • Structural steel welding • Manufacturing and plant welding • Agricultural equipment repair • Heavy equipment maintenance and welding • Conveyor system repairs • Sanitary Pipe welding and repair • Maintenance welding • Fabrication shop experience • Mechanical repair combined with welding experience • Military welding or mechanical maintenance experience • Construction welding experience • Metal fabrication and custom part manufacturing
  • What Makes a Candidate Stand Out:
  • Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. • Ability to fabricate components from raw materials and drawings. • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices. • Experience performing equipment repairs in manufacturing or industrial environments. • Familiarity with mechanical systems such as conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems. • Trade school, welding certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with mechanical systems such as conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding repairs on production equipment, machinery, structural components, piping, platforms, guards, and support systems.
  • Utilize TIG, MIG, Stick, Purge, and other welding processes to repair and fabricate parts as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and maintenance work orders.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, grinders, plasma cutters, saws, and other metal fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
  • Fabricate replacement parts, brackets, guards, supports, and modifications to improve equipment reliability.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate an aerial lift and sit-down forklift.
  • Respond to equipment failures and emergency repair situations to minimize downtime.
  • Work safely in accordance with company safety procedures and welding safety standards.
  • Comfortable operating at high elevations if needed.
