Welcome Center Associate (Bellis)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Appointment Schedule for all inbound orders
• Perform various WMS functions: shipment confirmations, Trailer dispatch, checking trailers into the system etc.
• Tender loads within in Transplace
• WMS use for printing BOLs and closing orders
• Constant communication with shipping teams to ensure efficient flow of work and high service levels to our customers
• Trailer Pool management
• Perform and send daily yard check report
• Respond to emails regarding any of our scrap load carriers
• Maintain shipping supplies within the welcome center
• Monitor the shipping window, office phone system and inbound/outbound gates
• Maintain incoming outgoing shipping log
• File all necessary shipping paperwork
• Support Manager and Leads on all shifts
• Job Specifications/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in Shipping Office/yard Management
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated strength in conflict resolution.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with associates within all levels of the organization.
• Excellent computer skills with experience in Warehouse Management systems and order processing systems
• Working understanding of our receiving process and manufacturing process
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Ability to Work 12 hour shifts and cover overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-4 years of shipping office experience
• Working knowledge of SAP and/or JDA
• Ability to tolerate and ambiguous environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with little to no guidance
• Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 18 years of age
