Website Project Lead / Product Manager

• With 2 offices located in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, we engage with prestigious government agencies, corporations, NGOs, and non-profit organizations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• We are looking for a senior web product and delivery professional who can lead the development of a high-quality institutional website for a major Saudi client.
• This person will act as the bridge between the client, internal leadership, designers, developers, content teams, and any external technical vendors.
• The ideal candidate understands website strategy, CMS platforms, UX, content operations, SEO migration, project management, quality assurance, and client communication.
• They do not need to be the main developer, but they must be technically strong enough to make informed platform decisions, challenge developers, manage risks, and ensure the final website is sustainable for the client’s team after launch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Requirements, Scope Definition & Solution Architecture — 25%

• Lead discovery sessions to clarify technical, operational, content, and governance requirements.
• Translate client needs into a clear scope, technical specification, and delivery plan.
• Recommend the most suitable platform approach, such as WordPress, Drupal or custom CMS.
• Define requirements for multilingual content, permissions, approval workflows, SEO migration, security, and support.

2. Project Management & Delivery Governance — 25%

• Own the project plan, timeline, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate between internal teams, developers, designers, content teams, and client stakeholders.
• Set up and manage project tools such as Jira, Asana, ClickUp, or similar.
• Track progress, manage change requests, and prepare regular status updates.

3. UX, CMS Usability & Content Operations — 20%

• Ensure the CMS is easy for non-technical users to manage in Arabic and English.
• Define page templates, content structures, navigation, and user journeys.
• Supervise content migration from the old website to the new website.
• Ensure training materials and user manuals are practical and clear.

4. Quality Assurance, SEO, Security & Launch Readiness — 20%

• Lead QA across functionality, usability, responsiveness, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
• Ensure proper SEO migration, including URL mapping, metadata, redirects, and sitemap.
• Coordinate performance, analytics, security, hosting, and deployment checks.

5. Training, Handover & Post-Launch Support — 10%

• Plan and deliver training sessions for the client’s team.
• Ensure user manuals, admin guides, and governance guidelines are delivered.
• Support the client during the post-launch stabilization period.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in website product management, digital project management, solution architecture, or web delivery.
• Strong understanding of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Strapi, Contentful, Sanity, or similar.
• Experience managing institutional, government, semi-government, chamber, association, or large corporate websites is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of SEO migration, redirects, analytics, CMS governance, accessibility, performance, and security basics.
• Strong client-facing communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel to Makkah on a monthly basis
