Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Website Developer with strong experience in WordPress and Node.js to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Build scalable backend applications and APIs using Node.js
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and server issues
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to implement new features
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible
- Maintain website security, backups, and updates
- Manage hosting environments, deployments, and version control systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in WordPress development
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and backend development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with MySQL/MongoDB databases
- Familiarity with REST APIs and API integrations
- Knowledge of Git/version control systems
- Understanding of website optimization and security practices
- Experience with responsive design and modern UI/UX standards
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React.js or Next.js
- Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as AWS or DigitalOcean
- Knowledge of WooCommerce development
- Experience with Docker or CI/CD pipelines
