Role overview
Build and maintain the digital presence across a group of companies, taking projects from concept to launch and owning sites over time.
Use AI tools to accelerate development, maintenance, content creation, and site management while applying human oversight.
Development and site management
- Design and develop websites and platforms, selecting CMS, custom application, e-commerce, or landing-page solutions to fit requirements and budgets.
- Handle front-end and back-end development and use AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.
- Maintain existing sites, including updates, bug fixes, enhancements, uptime, performance, and security.
- Manage hosting, domains, SSL certificates, backups, and CMS/server administration.
- Optimize speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
AI and cross-team work
- Test and integrate AI tools for code, debugging, content, image work, SEO, and workflow automation; recommend tools that benefit the group.
- Use judgment about AI quality, security, and licensing, and maintain human oversight where needed.
- Coordinate with marketing, design, and management; gather requirements and maintain brand consistency across company sites.
- Monitor analytics and reporting; support data protection, accessibility, security, troubleshooting, vendors, plugins, and integrations.
Required qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in web development and site management.
- Experience building websites and platforms from scratch and managing existing sites; demonstrated active use of AI tools.
- Front-end proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a framework such as React or Vue; back-end experience with PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar, plus databases.
- Hands-on CMS experience, hosting and domain/DNS knowledge, basic server administration, and understanding of SEO, performance, and responsive design.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously.
Preferred skills
- Bonus experience includes multiple platforms, WordPress Multisite, e-commerce, Figma or Adobe tools, cloud hosting, CI/CD, cybersecurity, and marketing or CRM integrations.
- AI tools may include GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, CMS AI plugins, or Figma AI.
Pay
- AED 8,000–9,000 per month.
