WebLogic Administrator (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced
Oracle WebLogic Administrator
to manage and support WebLogic environments across development, testing, and production platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in WebLogic administration, system troubleshooting, and automation in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle WebLogic Server in Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Manage WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, and application deployments (EAR/WAR/JAR).
- Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning of WebLogic environments.
- Configure and manage JDBC, JMS, data sources, connection pools, and security realms.
- Troubleshoot server, application, and environment-related issues to ensure system stability.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and uptime of applications.
- Automate deployments and administrative tasks using WLST, Shell, or Python scripts.
- Support Disaster Recovery (DR) activities, audits, and environment documentation.
- Collaborate with Development, Database, and Infrastructure teams to support application deployments and system improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in WebLogic Administration.
- Strong experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (11g / 12c / 14c).
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of Apache, Load Balancers, SSL, and networking concepts.
- Hands-on experience with WLST scripting for automation and administration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
