Web3 Product Strategist - Career Tools & On-Chain Intelligence

This role exists at the intersection of two worlds: deep, personal familiarity with how crypto-native professionals actually live and work on-chain, and the ability to translate that experience into structured product thinking.

We are building a suite of services specifically for Web3 professionals and the companies that hire them - tools and offerings that do not exist anywhere in the MENA market today.

Think on-chain portfolio-based career assessment, compensation intelligence for Web3 roles, credential verification tied to verifiable on-chain history, and advisory services built around what a candidate has actually done on-chain rather than what their CV says.

To build these products credibly, we need someone who has lived them from the user side.

You have to know what it feels like to manage a DeFi position, to contribute to a protocol, to build a track record on-chain - because you will be designing services for people exactly like you.

This is not a product manager role in the conventional sense.

There is no backlog grooming or sprint planning here.

This is a senior strategy role: you identify what to build, define why it matters, validate it with the market, and drive it to execution with the team.

Define and own the product roadmap for Trendy Career's Web3-specific services: on-chain career profiling, compensation benchmarking for Web3 roles, portfolio-based candidate assessment, and related offerings

Conduct structured discovery with active Web3 professionals, crypto companies, and hiring teams to identify unmet needs and validate product hypotheses

Design service frameworks and product concepts grounded in real on-chain user behaviour - not theoretical personas

Build and maintain a Web3 compensation intelligence database for the UAE/GCC region: role types, salary ranges, token/equity structures, and contractor vs. full-time norms

Develop frameworks for evaluating on-chain credentials as part of candidate assessment - working with the team to integrate these into platform workflows

Identify, assess, and prioritize new service categories based on market signals, community feedback, and your own direct knowledge of the space

Collaborate with leadership on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for new Web3 product lines

Track competitive landscape: what career platforms, Web3 talent tools, and on-chain identity projects exist globally, and what they are and are not doing well

Sustained, verifiable on-chain activity across multiple networks and protocol types - this is the baseline; without it, you cannot do this job

Deep personal familiarity with at least three of the following from direct participation: DeFi yield strategies, liquidity provision and impermanent loss mechanics, on-chain governance and DAO contribution, NFT ecosystem participation, perpetual futures on decentralized platforms, cross-chain operations, staking and restaking protocols

Demonstrated ability to think structurally about products or services - you do not need a formal PM background, but you must be able to take a problem and produce a clear, reasoned framework for addressing it

Understanding of how Web3 professionals build and demonstrate their track record: what tools they use, what on-chain history signals competence, and how this differs from traditional professional credentials

5+ years of total professional experience; the last 3 of which crypto/Web3 has been a central, active part of your professional or financial life

Strong written English; ability to produce clear product briefs, research summaries, and strategic documents without heavy editing

Based in Dubai or willing to relocate

Strong advantage:

Prior experience building, contributing to, or advising a Web3 product, protocol, or DAO - in any capacity

Familiarity with on-chain identity and credential infrastructure: ENS, Gitcoin Passport, Karma, Lens, Farcaster, or equivalent

with compensation data, talent intelligence, or HR tech - in any sector

Existing relationships with Web3 hiring managers, protocol teams, or crypto-native professionals in the UAE/GCC

Senior-level base compensation benchmarked against regional and global Web3 market rates

Direct equity-style upside in the Web3 vertical's growth - structured as performance incentive

Full ownership of a product domain that does not yet exist in this market - genuine greenfield scope
