Web3 Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead

Dubai's crypto ecosystem is real, active, and growing fast — but it runs on relationships, credibility, and presence.

You cannot build meaningful partnerships with protocols, Web3 companies, and crypto communities from the outside.

You have to be known, trusted, and respected within the space before any conversation about collaboration becomes productive.

This role is for someone who already has that standing — or is close enough to it that building it fully is a matter of months, not years.

You are a crypto practitioner first.

You operate on-chain, you participate in communities, you know the people building things in this region.

And now you want to bring that credibility to bear in building something with real commercial and industry impact.

As Web3 Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead at Trendy Career, you will own the company's external presence and relationships in the Web3 space — across protocols, exchanges, Web3-native companies, free zones, communities, and regional industry organisations.

You will build the partnerships that give Trendy Career access, distribution, and credibility in the crypto sector, and you will represent the company in the spaces where that sector actually operates: events, community channels, industry forums, and direct relationships.

This is not a business development role filled by a generalist.

Every external counterpart you will engage will quickly assess whether you are genuinely from the space or not.

Credibility here is not built through pitch decks — it is built through demonstrated knowledge, authentic community presence, and real on-chain history.

Own and execute Trendy Career's Web3 partnership strategy — identifying, prioritizing, and closing relationships with protocols, exchanges, Web3 companies, DAOs, accelerators, and ecosystem funds active in UAE and MENA

Build and manage a structured pipeline of partnership opportunities: co-branded talent initiatives, platform integrations, exclusive job distribution agreements, event collaborations, and community access deals

Represent Trendy Career at key Web3 events in Dubai and the region — TOKEN2049, Dubai Fintech Summit, DIFC Innovation Hub events, community meetups, and similar — as a credible, informed participant, not just a representative with business cards

Develop and maintain relationships with key nodes in the UAE crypto ecosystem: free zone authorities (VARA, DIFC, ADGM), major regional exchanges and market makers, Web3 VCs and accelerators, and protocol teams with regional presence

Work closely with the Product Strategist (Role 2) to surface partnership-driven product opportunities — what the market is asking for that Trendy Career does not yet offer

Build and manage a community presence for Trendy Career in Web3 channels: Telegram communities, Discord servers, Farcaster, and relevant regional networks — grounded in genuine contribution, not promotional noise

Track and report on ecosystem developments: which companies are expanding in UAE, which protocols are hiring, which communities are growing, and where Trendy Career should be present

Collaborate with leadership on external communications, thought leadership positioning, and the company's public voice in the Web3 space

Active, verifiable on-chain presence — you are a practitioner, not an observer; this will be assessed directly during the process

Personal, first-hand familiarity with how Web3 communities actually function: the culture, the norms, the reputation dynamics, and the difference between genuine participation and performance

Existing network within the UAE/GCC Web3 ecosystem — you can name people and organisations in this space and they would recognise your name in return

Demonstrated experience in partnerships, business development, ecosystem building, or community leadership — in Web3 or in an adjacent space where those skills are directly transferable

Deep knowledge of the regional Web3 landscape: who the key players are, which free zones matter and why, what VARA's regulatory framework means in practice, and how the Dubai crypto market differs from other global hubs

5+ years of professional experience, with meaningful and active crypto/Web3 involvement for at least the last 3 years

Excellent communication in English — you will be representing the company at a senior level across diverse professional contexts

Based in Dubai; an existing network here is a significant advantage

Strong advantage:

Prior experience in a partnerships, ecosystem, or community role within a Web3 protocol, exchange, accelerator, or industry organisation

Relationships with VARA, DIFC, ADGM, or free zone entities relevant to the crypto sector

Existing presence in UAE Web3 community channels — known in local Telegram groups, Discord communities, or regional crypto networks

Arabic language skills — operationally useful in parts of the regional ecosystem

structuring and closing commercial agreements in the Web3 space

Senior-level base compensation with performance upside tied directly to partnership outcomes and ecosystem growth metrics

A mandate to build something that does not yet exist in this market - the UAE Web3 career ecosystem has no dominant player; this role is part of what changes that

Expense coverage for events, community participation, and relationship development — the budget to do the job properly

Close collaboration with a small leadership team that makes decisions quickly and values direct, informed input

Trendy Career's existing regional infrastructure - client relationships, platform credibility, and operational base - as a starting point, not a constraint

Flexible working arrangement centred on Dubai, with the expectation of active presence in the city's Web3 community
