Role Description
We are seeking a talented and versatile Web Developer & UI/UX Designer to join our remoteteam.
This hybrid role requires a dual-minded professional who can seamlessly bridge the gapbetween creative design and technical execution.
The ideal candidate will be responsible forconceptualizing intuitive user interfaces, designing visually stunning website layouts, and bringingthose designs to life through clean, efficient code.
You will be our go-to expert for all thingsrelated to Shopify, WordPress, and custom website creation.
Key Responsibilities
- **End-to-End Development:**
- Design, build, test, and deploy functional and aestheticallypleasing websites, primarily utilizing Shopify and WordPress platforms.
- **UI/UX Design:**
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups thatensure intuitive user journeys and engaging digital experiences.
- **Responsive Design:**
- Ensure all web assets are fully responsive, mobile-friendly, andoptimized for various browsers and devices.
- **Theme Customization:**
- Modify and build upon existing WordPress and Shopify themes tomeet specific client branding and functional requirements.
- **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, and project managersto align digital assets with broader campaign goals.
- **Performance Optimization:**
- Implement basic technical SEO best practices, optimize pageload speeds, and troubleshoot website functionality issues.
Required Qualifications
- **Experience:**
- 3+ years of proven professional experience in both web development andUI/UX design.
- **Platform Expertise:**
- Strong, demonstrated experience developing and managing sites onShopify and WordPress.
- **Core Languages:**
- High proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- **Design Tools:**
- Mastery of modern UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma orAdobe XD.
- **Problem Solving:**
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability totroubleshoot complex technical and design challenges independently.
- **Remote Readiness:**
- Strong time-management skills, self-motivation, and reliablecommunication capabilities necessary for a fully remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a marketing or digital agency setting.
- Familiarity with PHP (for WordPress theme development) and Liquid (for Shopify themedevelopment).
- Experience with advanced technical SEO implementations and website analytics setup(e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
- A solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Tools & Technologies
The successful candidate will regularly utilize the following tools and technologies: Shopify,WordPress, Webflow, Figma, Adobe XD, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git/Version Control, and various remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Zoom).

Success in this role means consistently delivering websites that not only look beautiful but performflawlessly.
In your first 90 days, you will have successfully audited our existing client web assets,streamlined our design-to-development pipeline, and launched at least two new client websites ontime.
You will be recognized by the team as a reliable problem-solver who elevates the agency'soutput through exceptional design and robust code.
