We are currently seeking an experienced, talented, and proactive Web Developer to join our team and contribute to the success of multiple brands.
Job Overview
The ideal candidate should be passionate about modern technologies, up-to-date with the latest industry trends, and capable of developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance websites and web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Manage website architecture, hosting, and domain configurations
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability
- Implement and manage SEO best practices (technical SEO, on-page optimization)
- Ensure website security and protection against vulnerabilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, hosting, and website issues
- Monitor and fix bugs, errors, and performance bottlenecks
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS) for deployment and maintenance
- Collaborate with designers and marketing teams for UI/UX improvements
- Maintain and update WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
- Coordinate with relevant departments and teams on projects
- Keeping track of website ranking and generating monthly reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in web development
- Strong proficiency in:
- Python
- Java
- JavaScript
• Html5 & Css3
- PHP
- Solid experience with WordPress development and customization
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and implementation
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Knowledge of domain management, DNS, and web hosting environments
- Experience with server management and troubleshooting
- Understanding of web security practices and secure coding
- Ability to identify and resolve bugs and server-related issues
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science
- , Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in web development, cloud computing (AWS), or cybersecurity are a plus
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience with frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Basic UI/UX design knowledge
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)
- Experience with Figma or other collaborative interface design tools
