Role Overview
The Weatherization Field Technician ensures the installation of safety and home energy-saving measures, working to reduce the monthly energy costs of clients.
They will weatherize homes by repairing or installing new windows, insulating ductwork, insulating attics, and maintaining heating, ventilating, & air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

Required Qualifications
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of weatherization techniques and materials.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
- Understanding of power tool safety
- Ability to read a measuring tape
- Experience in removal and installation, manual labor, and the use of tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of related experience or comparable training
- EPA and RNGA certifications (preferred)
- Working Conditions:
- This position works outdoors and in client residences. Some work may include entering attics, basements, crawl spaces, and living spaces. Frequent travel will be required in this position. This is an hourly position, working 40 hours per week.
- Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the ability to exert physical effort, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. The individual must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Working in cramped or confined spaces.

- EPA and RNGA certifications (preferred)
