Role and engagement

Responsibilities

• Translate client requirements into technical solutions; attend meetings and site visits and conduct site assessments.
• Prepare BOQs, BOMs, quotations, technical proposals, system concepts, and presentations for clients.
• Select suitable products, protocols, and technologies; coordinate with suppliers and internal technical teams.
• Support commercial discussions, negotiations, opportunity follow-up through project award, and project handover.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Relevant technical experience

• Relevant technologies may include KNX, BACnet, DALI, Modbus, Zigbee, Matter, Z-Wave, Home Assistant, Tuya, HVAC control, lighting control, BMS, ELV, CCTV, access control, networking, and AV.
• Experience across luxury villas, residential developments, hospitality, commercial buildings, or high-end automation projects is advantageous.

Candidate profile

• Relevant experience may include pre-sales, automation engineering, ELV engineering, KNX engineering, BMS engineering, smart home consulting, or system integration.
• The candidate should be comfortable working independently, meeting clients, and owning opportunities from requirement through solution and proposal to project conversion.
• Experience dealing with MEP or ELV contractors, consultants, architects, interior designers, developers, facility management companies, villa contractors, or system integrators is advantageous.
• An existing UAE professional network is welcome but not mandatory; the posting seeks relevant UAE experience.

Compensation and possible transition

• The posting lists pay of AED 1,000–2,000 per month; the commercial structure is to be discussed during interview.
• Possible compensation components include site visit fees, pre-sales or proposal fees, project-based payments, performance incentives, and successful project conversion commission.
• A full-time position may be offered based on performance, technical capability, business contribution, and mutual fit.
