We're Hiring: Design Manager

Design Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architects, interior designers, and technical staff.
• Review and approve design concepts, drawings, and project deliverables.
• Establish design standards and ensure consistency across all projects.
• Drive innovation and creative excellence within the design team.

Project Management

• Oversee projects from concept development through construction documentation and site execution.
• Develop project schedules and monitor design progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Ensure design solutions meet project objectives, budgets, and timelines.

Technical & Design Development

• Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and material selections.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Resolve design and technical challenges during project development and execution.
• Monitor design quality and ensure accuracy of drawings and documentation.

Site & Client Coordination

• Attend client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with project teams to ensure proper implementation of designs.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and mock-ups.
• Ensure final project execution aligns with approved design intent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or design management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Design Manager or Senior Design Lead role.
• Strong experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent knowledge of design development, technical detailing, and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualization software.
• Revit proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be currently based in Qatar.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
• NOC for transfer preferred.
• Preferred Experience

Experience

• in fit-out, interiors, kitchens, wardrobes, commercial, hospitality, or residential projects.
• Knowledge of local authority requirements and approval processes in Qatar.
• Strong understanding of materials, construction methods, and project execution.
