Transport Workshop Supervisor at a transport company in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop activities and vehicle maintenance.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, and inspections.
- Manage mechanics and workshop staff.
- Monitor vehicle breakdowns and ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain vehicle maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
- Enter and update maintenance data in workshop management software.
- Track service schedules, repair costs, and vehicle maintenance history.
- Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
- Coordinate with drivers and the operations team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a transport workshop or fleet maintenance.
- Knowledge of truck and heavy vehicle maintenance.
- Experience using maintenance software for data entry and record-keeping is required.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong coordination and team management skills.
Additional preferences
- One year of transport management experience is preferred.
- Urdu is preferred.
Pay
- AED 2,800–4,000 per month; salary is also described as to be discussed.
Workplace
- Work location is in person; Abu Dhabi is listed as preferred.
