Water Treatment Operator

The Opportunity Veolia is seeking an Water Treatment Operator to join our team in Chinchilla, 4413 operating and maintaining the Water Treatment Plant supporting QGC operations. This shift based role offers plenty of variety, including plant operations, maintenance, fault finding, SCADA monitoring and laboratory testing. Your work will help deliver safe, reliable and high quality water to one of Queensland’s major resource projects. What's on offer FIFO from Brisbane 2/2 roster Competitive salary, allowances and annual bonus Varied, hands on work across operations and maintenance Training and career development opportunities What you'll be responsible for Operate and monitor plant equipment, processes and systems Complete preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance Troubleshoot equipment, process and SCADA/DCS alarms Conduct water sampling, laboratory testing and analysis Maintain accurate plant records and performance reports Support plant optimisation and commissioning activities Share your knowledge and support other operators Follow all safety, environmental and quality requirements What you'll need to be successful Trade qualification Experience in plant or water treatment operations highly regarded Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment Why Veolia?
