Role Overview

The Warehouse Worker performs receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, and stock organization activities in a warehouse.

The role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment and includes an evening shift.

Compensation

  • The hourly rate is $22.00.

Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders from pick tickets.
  • Wrap pallets and load trucks for in-town deliveries.
  • Wrap and label pallets for out-of-town deliveries and pickups.
  • Conduct bin walks and check empty bins.
  • Keep the assigned row neat by sweeping floors, aligning pallets, and leveling load slots.
  • Operate an industrial forklift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist other warehouse workers as requested by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.

Requirements

  • At least six months of warehouse or forklift operation experience is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required because public transit is unreliable for the location and shift hours.
  • Be available Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00 p.m. and staying until work is completed.
  • Overtime is required based on business demands and may occur on short notice.
  • Be dependable and a team player.
  • Lift more than 25 kilograms and frequently lift 10 to 15 kilograms.
  • Work regularly at heights of up to 21 feet using provided safety equipment, processes, and training.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
