****Job Description****
Warehouse Team Leader
- is responsible for coordinating the daily warehouse activities and supporting the efficient execution of inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packinh and shipping operations.
- The role supervise a team of warehouse operators (approximately 5 – 10 people), ensuring work is carried out safely, accurately and according to operational priorities and company procedures while supporting operational targets.
- ****Key Responsibilities****
- Monitor inbound, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure accuracy, productivity, and quality standards are met.
- Supervise warehouse operators during daily operations, providing guidance, support, and on-the-job training when required.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and warehouse procedures, promoting a safe and organized working environment.
- Support inventory accuracy by participating in stock counts, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies.
- Monitor daily operational performance and report issues or improvement opportunities to the Head of Operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
- Experience coordinating or supervising a small operational team is preferred.
- Good understanding of inventory management, warehouse processes, and material handling activities.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanning systems.
- Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize daily activities.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse environment.
