About This Role
Job Objective
The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the delivery hub, ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely distribution of shipments. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, and leading teams to achieve high performance. The Hub Leader ensures compliance with company processes, enhances customer satisfaction, and supports continuous improvement within the last-mile delivery network.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Manage day-to-day hub operations to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Oversee route planning, vehicle loading, and adherence to SOPs
- Monitor KPIs (delivery time, accuracy, productivity) and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
People Management
- Lead and supervise coordinators, drivers, and delivery associates
- Allocate tasks and balance workload efficiently
- Conduct daily briefings, coaching, and performance management
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives
Planning & Coordination
- Plan delivery routes based on priorities and customer requirements
- Monitor fleet condition, maintenance, and documentation
- Manage hub resources (fleet, manpower, and equipment)
Reporting & Administration
- Track operational expenses (fuel, tolls, maintenance, etc.)
- Prepare daily and weekly performance reports
- Maintain petty cash records and ensure compliance
- Report and follow up on incidents or operational issues
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and internal processes
- Identify gaps and implement process improvements
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (warehouse, linehaul, customer service)
- Address customer delivery concerns promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in last-mile / 3PL logistics operations
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Mandatory: Experience with Amazon last-mile operations (DSP / AMZL environment preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Data-driven mindset with strong reporting skills
- Knowledge of fleet management and route optimization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Flexible to work weekends or extended hours if required
