Warehouse Supervisor

About This Role

• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, including order pickers, packers, and material handlers.
• Delegate tasks to staff based on daily priorities, skills, and workload.
• Provide training and development to staff members on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock counts and proper storage of goods.
• Monitor stock levels and work with the purchasing team to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Perform periodic audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, from receiving shipments to picking and packing for distribution.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring goods are properly stored and dispatched.
• Organize warehouse layout and storage to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and workspaces.
• Investigate accidents or incidents, report findings, and take corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, and productivity.
• Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse processes.
• Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure that all warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is properly maintained and safe to use.
• Coordinate the repair and maintenance of equipment when necessary.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, purchasing, and customer service, to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Report on daily, weekly, or monthly operations to senior management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

• Warehouse in charge: 2 years (Required)
