Job Description
Green Plus Shipping is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor.
The role oversees warehouse operations, manpower, cargo handling, inventory movement, safety, and daily warehouse activities.
Experience Requirements
- 4–5 years of relevant warehouse supervisory experience is required.
- Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or cargo is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise receiving, loading, unloading, picking, packing, put-away, and dispatch operations.
- Allocate warehouse staff, equipment, and machinery according to daily operational requirements.
- Verify GRNs, stock records, and warehouse documentation.
- Plan storage space based on shipment requirements, cargo weight, volume, and condition.
- Coordinate shipment schedules and truck or container placement with Operations, Customer Service, and Transportation teams.
- Ensure stock arrangement, rotation, safe storage, and timely dispatch of cargo.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping, cleanliness, safety standards, and clear aisles.
- Monitor cargo and warehouse property for damage, infestation, or other issues and report them.
- Prepare daily reports and update the Warehouse Manager on operations, manpower, and issues.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff and ensure company procedures and safety requirements are followed.
