Warehouse Supervisor

At DP World, we're looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery. Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational performance, coaching teams and maintaining high service standards within a busy distribution environment.

Working pattern: This role operates on a flexible shift pattern, working 7.5-hour shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm in line with business requirements.

How you will contribute:

Lead and supervise outbound and dispatch operations, while maintaining the flexibility to support goods-in, storage, picking and packing activities as business demands require.

Ensure the team consistently delivers against service level agreements and key performance indicators.

Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety across all operational activities.

Manage team performance, attendance, training and employee relations matters.

Coach, develop and motivate team members to create a positive and high-performing working environment.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Communicate effectively with operational teams, management and key stakeholders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Maintain high housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Demonstrate flexibility to support changing customer and business requirements.

What you will bring:

Proven hands-on experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar frontline leadership role.

Strong people management experience, including coaching, performance management and team development.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.

Ability to analyse operational issues and implement practical solutions.

Experience using Warehouse Management Systems; knowledge of GDS and/or DCMS would be highly advantageous.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage resources effectively.

Experience of managing warehouse transport would be desirable.

A flexible approach to working hours, with availability to work 7.5-hour shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm to meet business needs.
