Warehouse Store Keeper

Job Summary

Inventory Management

• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support operational requirements.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure record accuracy.
• Prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and inventory obsolescence.
• Picking and Packing
• Accurately select items from inventory according to approved requisitions, sales orders, or delivery requests.
• Pack products securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transportation or storage.
• Verify item quantities, specifications, and documentation before dispatch.

Receiving and Issuing Materials

• Receive incoming shipments and inspect goods for quantity, quality, and potential damage.
• Verify delivery documents against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Issue materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to internal departments while maintaining proper documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams regarding incoming and outgoing shipments.

Quotation Preparation

• Prepare quotations and price estimates for customers, vendors, or internal departments based on stock availability and approved pricing.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure quotation accuracy and timely submission.
• Maintain records of quotations and pricing updates.

Storage and Warehouse Organization

• Organize warehouse space to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility.
• Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and categorization of inventory items.
• Maintain appropriate storage conditions, including temperature, humidity, and handling requirements where applicable.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse facilities at all times.

Record Keeping and System Updates

• Maintain accurate manual and electronic records of inventory transactions.
• Update inventory movements, receipts, issues, and stock adjustments in ERP systems or inventory management software.
• Generate inventory reports and provide data to management as required.
• Ensure all warehouse documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
• Compliance and Safety
• Adhere to company policies, warehouse procedures, and inventory control standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or inventory irregularities promptly.
• Support warehouse audits and inspections as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Strong organizational, numerical, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and inventory control practices.
• Arabic speaking ability is preferred.
