Warehouse Operative- Vaults- Part Time

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch cash containers and securely load and unload CIT, ATM, and Trunker vehicles.
• Complete daily vault audits, investigate discrepancies, and report issues to management.
• Control vehicle access to loading bays and branches where applicable.
• Maintain paperwork, records, audit trails, and 5S standards.
• Open and close vaults using appropriate security measures, including during emergencies.
• Prepare customer-fund consignments for dispatch and monitor holdings against insurance indemnities.
• Maintain the security of cash, valuables, staff, premises, and secure-area keys.
• Use the Viper computerized system to maintain traceability of cash and containers.
• Follow operational standing orders, health and safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Work flexibly, including shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and changing operational requirements.

Person specification

• Confident written and spoken English communication is required.
• Candidates must be able to follow specific procedures and instructions, work to tight deadlines, and demonstrate appropriate numeracy.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a secure, confined, and highly regulated environment.
• Candidates must be willing to undertake shift work and work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience using IT and computer systems is beneficial.
• A continuous focus on efficient, flexible, and security-conscious customer service is expected.
