While our drivers are the face of Bidfood on the road, it's our Warehouse Operatives who make sure every order is picked accurately, loaded safely and ready to leave on time. Without you, our journey simply wouldn't happen.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.

Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently

Loading vehicles ready for delivery

Organising and storing products safely and correctly

Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided

Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts

Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly

Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Great teamwork and communication skills

Good attention to detail

A commitment to delivering excellent service

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential

A good level of physical fitness, as this is an active role involving regular movement and manual handling
