Warehouse Associate - Loose Freight Handler

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring for a Warehouse Associate - Loose Freight Handler to support our distribution center in Ontario, CA. As a Warehouse Associate - Loose Freight Handler, you will work with a voice based sorting system and pallet jack to place customer orders on a pallet in the order that the voices system asks. Once the pallet is created, you will wrap the pallet to get it ready to load onto the trailer. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Process customer orders by manually breaking down pallets, stacking product onto pallets, and transporting completed pallets with the use of a pallet jack or forklift.

Confirm orders contain the correct number of products for shipment.

Review and verify label information by comparing the label on the product to its contents and placing the label in the appropriately area on the product.

Inspect inbound and outbound customer orders for damages.

This is a physically demanding job that will require you to lift 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
