Ensure incoming goods are safely unloaded and inspected and outgoing freight is correctly packed, secured, and loaded according to schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Manually or mechanically unload incoming trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Inspect goods and promptly report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the warehouse supervisor.
- Load outbound freight and parcel deliveries onto vehicles, optimizing space and balance to meet shipping schedules.
- Wrap, band, or secure palletized goods for transport.
- Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and staging customer orders.
Requirements and qualifications
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, twist, and regularly lift and carry heavy loads, frequently up to 50 lbs / 23 kg or more, throughout a full shift.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- Ability to read shipping labels, follow verbal and written instructions, and accurately tally stock counts.
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or manual labor experience is strongly preferred.
Work environment
- Fast-paced warehouse and loading-dock environment.
- Work location is in person.
Working hours
- Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, including a lunch break.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,700–2,000 per month.
