Role overview

IT operations and infrastructure

• Own servers, networks, endpoints, cloud services, and security systems across group locations.
• Maintain availability, reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Establish IT policies, standards, and disaster recovery procedures; manage helpdesk support and SLA-driven resolution.
• Implement ITSM tools and oversee cybersecurity, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and compliance.

Applications, automation, and databases

• Lead ERP evaluation, implementation, enhancement, and support across textile manufacturing processes including production planning, inventory, spinning, weaving, and processing.
• Manage application lifecycle, upgrades, performance, user adoption, data migration, master-data governance, and integrations.
• Digitize processes with Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Production, and HR; maintain ERP data integrity and business continuity.
• Automate processes with RPA or SQL, develop BI dashboards, and lead digital transformation and shop-floor, MES, and ERP integration.
• Manage MS SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases; support application development and ensure stability, scalability, security, and integration.

Leadership, budget, and governance

• Lead, mentor, and develop an 8–10-person IT team; define roles and performance expectations.
• Prioritize projects with department heads and manage external vendors, consultants, and technology partners.
• Prepare annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets, assess investments, and lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and procurement.
• Ensure IT governance, security, organizational policy, and audit compliance; track KPIs, service metrics, and project performance.

Essential qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of IT experience, including 2–3 years in leadership or management.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and database administration.
• ERP implementation and support experience.
• Application development or support experience using Java, .NET, ASP.NET, C#, or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications

• RPA experience with UiPath, Power Automate, or similar tools; exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics tools.
• Understanding of OCR, workflow automation, and AI-enabled business applications.
• ITIL certification or knowledge of IT service management frameworks.
• Experience in textile, garment, manufacturing, or process industries.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is ₹42,000–₹60,000 per month.
