Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experianced Waitress at Zaman Beirut Restaurant.
The role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized service area.
Delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating a good understanding of menu items are key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers courteously upon arrival.
- Provide detailed menu explanations, including daily specials and allergy information.
- Take precise food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
- Collaborate with our barista to ensure efficient beverage service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Serve food using proper techniques and ensure order accuracy.
- Upsell food and beverage items throughout the dining experience.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Maintain table settings and cleanliness in the service area.
- Prepare to-go orders and process payments accurately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications
- **Arabic & English language proficiency is mandatory.**
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
