Role overview

Service duties

• Deliver food from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately; coordinate between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Communicate orders, priorities, and special requests such as food allergies to chefs.
• Assist with table setting; serve welcome drinks and hors d'oeuvres; remove dirty dishes and utensils.
• Ensure food is served according to safety standards, including appropriate temperature.
• Check in with customers, take additional orders, refill water, and answer questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Share customer feedback and requests with restaurant staff; provide children with kids' menus and suitable silverware.

Requirements

• Experience as a food expeditor or in a similar entry-level restaurant role; one year of UAE food runner experience is required.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
• Availability for various shifts, including weekends.
• Multitasking ability, good oral communication, and composure in a fast-paced work environment.
• English is required.
• A degree in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus.

Pay

• Pay is AED 2,400 to AED 2,700 per month.
