VVH Custodian & Groundskeeper - Temporary

The Vermont Veterans' Home is currently seeking to hire VVH Institutional Custodians & Groundskeepers. This position will include groundskeeping, housekeeping, and laundry job duties. Groundskeeping duties are mowing, weed eating, landscaping, raking, general maintenance of interior/exterior, pressure washing, and winter maintenance. Seasonal grounds maintenance duties. Housekeeping duties are mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, cleaning of living spaces and common areas. Laundry duties are laundering linens and personal clothing, sorting and folding, delivery and pickup of laundry as well as operation of laundry machines. The hours for these positions are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, or as needed, and include working weekends and holidays.
