Position Summary
The VP/SVP, Institutional Advisory will play a key role in partnering on sales initiatives within the Institutional Advisory Group (IAG), Middle East.
The individual will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional investors across the Middle East.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the Middle East team to ensure the effective execution of direct sales efforts in the Middle East.
This role is pivotal in attracting new assets from institutional investors to TCW's diverse strategies, including public fixed income, and alternatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in assisting with institutional sales and relationships.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses a robust background in institutional sales, investments, and project management.

The role is Dubai based but ability to travel around the region to meet clients in person is a must.
Essential Duties
- Lead institutional sales and relationship management efforts across the Middle East, with a strong focus on Sovereign Wealth Funds.
- Originate new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships. Existing relationships within sovereign and government-related institutions are a strong advantage
- Directly help the Institutional Sales team with prospect meeting preparation
- Lead end‑to‑end marketing and fundraising initiatives, overseeing overall capital‑raising activity, developing strategic marketing collateral and pitch materials, and driving client engagement through targeted roadshows, events, and multi‑channel campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal teams (investment, product, marketing, etc) to develop and deliver customized investment solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and TCW's product offerings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitch books, and reports to clients.
- Represent TCW at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Work on cross-functional projects within the Distribution business, coordinating with the broader organization.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regional market dynamics, compliance and regulatory considerations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant sales experience in a financial institution, preferably in an asset management firm
- Proven track record of originating and growing institutional mandates
- Fluent in Arabic is essential, English communication skills required
- Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of investment strategies across fixed income, equities, alternatives, and emerging markets.
- Existing relationships within sovereign and government-related institutions are a strong advantage
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Commercially driven with a relationship-oriented mindset
