About This Role
Job Purpose
The Vice President – Business Excellence will lead the organization’s Business Excellence strategy, driving operational efficiency, continuous improvement, process optimization, and performance management across all business functions.
The role will be responsible for establishing standardized frameworks, governance models, performance metrics, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and support long-term business growth.
Strategic Excellence & Performance Management
- Develop and implement the enterprise-wide Business Excellence framework using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Establish governance models, KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting standards across business functions.
- Lead organizational performance management through analytics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Lead process re-engineering and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Identify operational gaps, eliminate process inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure measurable operational and financial improvements across the organization.
Digital Transformation & Automation
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives to improve workflows and operational effectiveness.
- Identify and implement technology solutions, process automation, and smart operational tools.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Change Management & Culture Development
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
- Develop training and capability-building programs related to Business Excellence practices.
- Influence and engage stakeholders across all organizational levels to support transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder & Leadership Management
- Partner with senior leadership and business heads to align Business Excellence initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Present performance updates, business insights, and value realization reports to executive management.
- Ensure all initiatives deliver measurable ROI, operational improvements, and business impact.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications in Business Excellence or Quality Management are an advantage.
Experience Required
- 15+ years of experience in Business Excellence, Operational Excellence, Performance Management, or Transformation roles.
- Minimum 8 years in a senior leadership position.
- Strong experience in large-scale transformation projects, process optimization, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Experience within real estate, construction, infrastructure, or related industries in UAE/GCC is preferred.
