Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Volunteer will support daily restaurant operations, including assisting with food service, helping keep dining and service areas clean and organized, and providing courteous support to guests and team members.
Responsibilities may include clearing and setting tables, carrying dishes to and from the kitchen, assisting with basic food preparation or plating under supervision, and restocking supplies as needed.
The role also involves following health, safety, and hygiene guidelines, supporting front-of-house staff during busy periods, and communicating effectively with the team to ensure smooth service.
The Volunteer will receive guidance and on-the-job training from experienced staff and is expected to maintain a professional and respectful attitude at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in hospitality, customer service, and learning how a restaurant operates.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, colleagues, and supervisors in a diverse environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to follow instructions and established procedures.
- Capacity to work on your feet for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks such as carrying trays or supplies.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and readiness to support different tasks as needed during shifts.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices in food-service environments, or willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in customer service or restaurants is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, including weekends or evenings as scheduled.
