Visiting Assistant Professor, Mathematics

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position.

This is a non-tenure track position for a fixed one-year period, with a target start date in August 2026 running through June 2027.

include carrying out a collaborative or independent research program in one of the Department's research areas (evidenced by publishing articles, attending conferences, and giving research talks, teaching a 2/1 course load for the academic year (9-11 credit hours per year), and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Health insurance benefits are included.

The position is contingent upon available funding and is for a one-year term, with the possibility of renewal.
