The role of the Virtual & Extended Reality (XR)
Experience
Strategy Consultant is to spearhead the development and implementation of immersive experiences for the upcoming Expo 2030 in Riyadh, aiming to connect global audiences through innovative virtual environments and interactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and create a roadmap for immersive experiences.
- Design virtual pavilions and immersive digital environments.
- Develop avatar ecosystems and engaging real-time interaction platforms.
- Craft hybrid audience experiences that blend physical and virtual elements.
- Formulate strategies for virtual events and remote participation models.
- Assess XR platform strategies and vendor ecosystems.
- Explore digital commerce and monetization opportunities.
- Ensure frameworks for accessibility, moderation, privacy, and user safety are in place.
Key Requirements
- Experience with mega-events, gaming, or immersive media.
- Expertise in XR/VR strategy and immersive digital ecosystems.
- Proven track record in evaluating immersive technology vendors.
- Knowledge of avatar systems and real-time engagement technologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with international audience platforms.
- Background in gaming and interactive entertainment.
- Understanding of large-scale virtual audience engagement.
Location
Riyadh, KSA.
Duration: Contract for 3 months (extendable).
