This is not an entry-level security guard position.

We are seeking experienced practitioners who understand the expectations associated with high-visibility assignments and are capable of representing our company and its clients with confidence, professionalism, and discretion.

Depending on client needs, assignments may include:

VIP and executive event security

Corporate executive and leadership security support

High-profile private functions and special events

VIP arrivals, departures, and venue access control

Professional security presence at corporate and private locations

Residential and private-property security for high-profile clients

Temporary security details and supplemental protective operations

Other specialized assignments consistent with individual credentials, training, and client requirements

Essential Responsibilities

  • VSO responsibilities may vary by assignment and can include:
  • Maintain a professional and discreet security presence in high-visibility environments.
  • Exercise sound judgment and situational awareness while identifying potential security concerns.
  • Support established security plans, site-specific post orders, and client protocols.
  • Monitor designated access points, credential verification, and authorized movement.
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, departures, and movement coordination within the scope of the assignment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, operations personnel, event management, and designated client representatives.
  • Identify and report unusual activity, emerging security concerns, and operational issues.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and assignment documentation.
  • Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding clients, assignments, and sensitive operational information.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct, composure, and service-oriented communication.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents within assigned duties, training, and applicable law.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current and valid state Guard Card within the jurisdiction you are applying to work
  • Demonstrated professional experience in law enforcement, military service, private security, protective services, or another directly relevant security discipline.
  • Proven ability to work in professional, sensitive, or high-visibility environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, situational awareness, and written and verbal communication.
  • Professional appearance and the ability to interact appropriately with executives, public figures, guests, and clients.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and protect confidential information.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to report to designated assignments throughout the metropolitan area.
  • Ability to work independently while following established operational procedures and supervisory direction.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable employment eligibility, licensing, and pre-employment screening requirements.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of assigned positions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Highly Preferred Backgrounds

We particularly encourage qualified applicants with experience in:

Federal, state, or local law enforcement

Executive protection and dignitary security

Corporate executive security programs

VIP security and high-profile event operations

Professional private security assignments involving executives, public figures, or sensitive facilities

Specialized security operations requiring elevated professionalism, discretion, and judgment
