Position Summary
The Villa Supervisor will be responsible for managing various household operations by ensuring smooth running of day-to-day activities, high service standards, efficient household/staff management and providing high-level hospitality to guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee household staff, including housemaids and other personnel, ensuring proper documentation (OWWA, ILOE, etc.) is up to date.
- Supervise the housemaids regarding work schedules, delegation of tasks, and daily briefings and performance management
- Manage the expiry dates for house staff’s papers and ensure timely renewals.
- Inspect the villa regularly to ensure cleanliness, order, and maintenance of all areas.
- Track and manage car service, registrations and ensure all vehicles are in good condition and ready for use.
- Work closely with owner/manager on budgets, purchasing, cost control, and household expenditures.
- Manage inventories including household supplies, linen, amenities, equipment, and ensure replacements or orders are made proactively.
- Oversee pet care arrangements, including insurance policies and veterinary appointments.
- Oversee the rental and management of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and organization of household items.
- Manage the sale of various items as required, utilizing online platforms such as Dubizzle and other appropriate channels to maximize visibility and sales opportunities.
- Conduct personal shopping for household members, fulfilling specific requests and preferences for items and gifts.
- Coordinate pest control and sanitation services.
- Handle guest and resident requests and complaints with discretion and professionalism; ensure follow-up and resolution.
- Oversee money exchange for household expenses and transactions.
- Handle private airport pickups and drops for guests, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
- Address any issues or emergencies that arise in the household promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other household staff to enhance delivery service and maintain a harmonious environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as villa supervisor, house manager or similar role.
- Familiarity with household maintenance systems, smart-home automation, and general property upkeep.
