The company delivers quality up to date content to its readers, viewers, delegates and guests through digital, print, events, awards, video content, social media platforms and social media influencers.
These brands include major international and regional names such as Time Out, Gault&Millau, Hotelier, Caterer, and Commercial Interior Design.
Pre-Production / Post-Production Requirements
- Video production of reels, interviews, events, vlogs, behind the scenes, and series.
- Monitor all industry and social media trends in order to produce highest quality of video that our audience will find interesting and useful.
- Ability to edit high-quality, engaging video content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) along with longer form videos for internal use and events.
- Expert understanding of cinematography and lighting.
Experience
- in food videography is preferable.
- Monitor and track the filming process and schedules.
- Familiarity with production equipment such as professional cameras (Canon Mark 4 and EOSR, Sony FX3, CR5 or similar) and audio equipment (Shotgun mics, lapel mics) for preproduction/planning, in-studio and field production, lighting/grip experience.
- Understanding of Adobe softwares used for planning, editing and scripting.
- Ability to be creative and dynamic when editing footage in post-production.
- Operate and manage equipment before and after every shoot; keep all equipment in good working order.
General Requirements
- Valid driving license.
- Passionate about videography and creating digital content.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and external individuals/groups.
- Work closely with Group Video Editor to ensure footage is captured, delivered on-time and clearly organized and labelled.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
- Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail.
- Multitasking skills for working across multiple projects at once.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to be self–directed because of the hours being flexible - morning and night shoots.
- Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours, if needed.
- English proficiency; Arabic is a plus.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; Adobe After Effects is a plus.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Microsoft Outlook.
