Video Prep Technician (Live Events | Middle East)

Role overview

Experience and knowledge

• Previous warehouse experience and a good understanding of the live-events industry.
• Understanding of the company’s product range and procedures.
• Understanding of stock-control systems and basic IT.
• Understanding of electrical safety at work, PAT testing, and safe working practices.

Equipment preparation and tracking

• Prepare and maintain video equipment and ensure correct equipment is ready for scheduled events.
• Prepare packing lists and project-logistics documents; label equipment and flight cases for specific jobs.
• Enter equipment, barcodes, and new assets into the rental software; maintain stock records and service histories.
• Report shortages and issues, and route faulty or damaged equipment to the Service Department for repair.
• Record equipment usage and maintenance; carry out PAT testing where needed and log results.

Warehouse and safety duties

• Assist with routine fixture maintenance and repairs, safe vehicle loading and unloading, and scheduled stock cycle counts.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and orderly and report health and safety issues.
• Follow company quality standards, health and safety rules, and other policies and procedures.
