Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow.
The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging videos for campaigns, social media, and brand content.
Day-to-day tasks include cutting and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound, and graphics, and performing basic to advanced color correction to maintain a consistent visual style.
The role involves collaborating closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and producers to interpret briefs, refine storyboards, and deliver edits on schedule.
The Video Editor will also maintain organized media libraries, manage project files, and stay current with editing trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance output quality.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience managing projects from raw footage to final render.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic color correction to achieve consistent, high-quality visual output.
- Hands-on experience with motion graphics and graphics to create titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and adapt editing style to different clients and platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, sense of timing and pacing, and ability to work under deadlines in a collaborative studio environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in branding, marketing, or agency environments is an advantage.
