Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished, engaging content for digital campaigns, social media, websites, and advertising.
Day-to-day tasks include trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, sound effects, music, and graphics, as well as performing color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency.
The role involves collaborating with creative, marketing, and account teams to understand project goals, interpret briefs, and maintain brand guidelines.
The Video Editor will also manage media assets, optimize videos for different platforms and formats, and contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling raw footage into professional, platform-ready content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to correct and enhance visuals for a consistent, high-quality look and feel.
- Hands-on experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, overlays, and visual effects that support storytelling.
- Comfort with leading video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of pacing, composition, and sound design.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience creating video content for digital marketing, social media, or advertising is preferred.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and portfolio.
